Hitting
By guessing the prospective pitch in advance your hitting cursor (sweet spot) will increase, guess wrong and your hitting cursor will decrease. You will also need to guess the location of the pitch. If your opponent is a normal pitcher he will have 4 quadrants to choose from, if he is a good pitcher he will have 8 quadrants to choose from. Therefore trying to guess the location and pitch type of a good pitcher is nearly impossible. But the most important thing is to get the timing of the pitches down. Once this is accomplished, hitting becomes second nature.
