Spring training mode
This is a new mode included in this years 989 Sports baseball title. It allows gamers to create a player and help him make a perspective team based on his performance in Spring Training. If your player gets 50 points or more he will get called up to the majors. Points can be scored by getting hits, driving in runs, scoring runs, and hitting homeruns. If your player gets 100 points or more he will get selected to an all-star game.
